The Sunnyvale Heritage Park Museum is run almost entirely by volunteers. The museum is open three times a week year-round, and admission is free. By donating to the museum, you will help us continue to share Sunnyvale’s history and educate current and future generations to come.
WAYS TO DONATE
The Sunnyvale Heritage Park Museum is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization. Our federal tax ID number is 94-2544153. Your donation to the museum is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
CHECK
The easiest, most cost-effective way to make a donation is by check since there is no transaction processing fee. Please complete the Donation Form, make your check payable to Sunnyvale Historical Society and Museum, and mail the form and check to the following address:

You may donate online by PayPal or credit / debit card.
PayPal offers the convenience of not having to enter your card number and incurs a smaller transaction processing fee than credit / debit cards. When donating by PayPal or credit / debit card, please consider covering the transaction processing fee in your donation.
CORPORATE MATCHING PROGRAM
Many companies offer corporate matching programs that will increase your charitable donation to the museum. Please consult with your company’s Human Resources Department to determine whether your company matches charitable donations and for instructions on how to request matching. We are listed on Benevity as Sunnyvale Historical Society and Museum Association.
DONOR-ADVISED FUND (“DAF”)
You may donate to the museum from your donor-advised fund. Please instruct your fund administrator to make the check payable to Sunnyvale Historical Society and Museum and mail it to the address above.
IRA DISTRIBUTION
If you are 70 ½ years of age or older, you may make a tax-free qualified charitable distribution (“QCD”) from your individual retirement account (“IRA”) to the museum, potentially satisfying all or part of your annual required minimum distribution (“RMD”). Please consult with your IRA administrator or tax advisor regarding the withdrawal process and requirements. You may instruct your IRA administrator to make the check payable to Sunnyvale Historical Society and Museum and mail it to the address above.
