At the Speaker Night February 9, 2026, Pong inventor Al Alcorn regaled the huge audience with tales from the early years of Atari, 1972 – 1982. He gave snapshots into the life of a start-up in Silicon Valley with all the drama and pitfalls young engineers and innovators were experiencing. Many people in the audience had lived through those days and even brought paraphernalia related to the topic.
The presenter did not want to be recorded (we usually tape the presentations), so there is no video available of the talk.
