Heritage Park Museum is a true community gem, highlighting the local history of our region. There are many ways you can get involved and show your support for the museum and the Sunnyvale Historical Society.
Volunteer
Sunnyvale Historical Society and Museum Association (SHSMA) volunteers and docents contributed almost 30,000 hours of volunteer service in 2019. Needless to say, we couldn’t provide many of our museum services without our talented and dedicated volunteers, and they provide vital support to the museum and our community as a whole. In return, our volunteers enjoy the camaraderie of working with visitors, staff, and their counterparts; opportunities for life-long learning; and the satisfaction of knowing they are making a valuable contribution.
