The mural was created by artist Ali Pearson, who is a well-known muralist throughout the US and married to Martin Murphy descendant Bill Stockton. It took her four and a half months to paint the mural and one week to hang it on the specially created curved wall. It is painted on canvas and on two big panels, which are hung like wallpaper in the room with one seam only. It depicts the timeline of the Sunnyvale region from the Ohlone to the late 1950’s.
This room also contains various historical artifacts from the Ohlone tribe as well as other Sunnyvale historical items.
